A blissful wedding anniversary

To our niece and our nephew-in-law, our first inaanak sa kasal, best wishes to both of you! May the freshness of your love remain in your hearts forever.

The photo was taken at the office of the judge who officiates the couple’s civil wedding two years ago. A year later, they had the church wedding at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral of  Cubao.

I think I have posted our photo inside the church right after the wedding ceremony.

Our 22nd year

I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness. As I place it on your finger, I commit my heart and soul to you…

We don’t have much photos taken during our civil wedding 22 years ago. I think this was the best shot beside the ‘you may kiss the bride’ part. 🙂

I still dream of wearing a wedding dress someday. If that day would come, I want this beautiful wedding song to be played while we exchange “I do’s” for the second time….

Two Words, I do

In a while, in a word,
Every moment now returns.
For a while, seen or heard,
How each memory softly burns.
Facing you who brings me new tomorrows,
I thank God for yesterdays,
How they led me to this very hour,
How they led me to this place…
Every touch, every smile,
You have given me in care.
Keep in heart, always I’ll,
Now be treasuring everywhere.
And if life should come to just one question,
Do I hold this moment true?
No trace of sadness,
Always with gladness…
‘I DO…’
(Instrumental)
Now a song that speaks of now and ever,
Beckons me to someone new,
Unexpected, unexplored, unseen,
Filled with promise coming through.
In a while, in a word,
You and I forever change,
Love so clear, never blurred,
Has me feeling wonderous, strange,
And if life should come to just one question,
Do I face each moment true?
No trace of sadness, always with gladness,
‘I DO…’
Never with sadness…
Always with gladness…
‘I… DO…’

Wedding anniversary gift

A couple friend is going to celebrate their nth wedding anniversary next month. The wife is frantically searching for a gift for her husband. She said she wanted something that her husband will really like. She can’t afford a car or a motorcycle. She said it’s like she’s doing it (gift hunting) all over again 20 years ago. She did Get 1st Anniversary gifts for him and her husband really loved the present. My friend said she might buy her loveydoods a new camera. I guess that solves her gift hunting problem..
