My DD had her first Christmas party at her new job. The event was held virtually.
She started working in the company only recently. I think she’s adjusting well enough.
My fervent wish for DD will be for her to excel in her field and be happy with all the experience. I’m truly happy for my DD that she is realizing her dreams one step at a time.
My younger kid, who will be 21 in a few days, is embarking on a “new way” to earn his college degree. The community college which K is currently enrolled at is now promoting virtual learning method so that students can still pursue education amid the pandemic.
K is completing second year (third term) of the course, Bachelor of Multimedia Arts (BAMMA) through virtual classes. (Visit the school site to know more about the school offering.)
Since June 15, K is taking virtual classes aptly named Online Distance Learning Term, from the comfort of our home. He has his own room with basic things he needs to keep up with the lessons. Unlike the subjects that are taken in a normal school setting, subjects are fewer and discussions per hour are much shorter to meet the demand of online classes, and for students to have more time with their families during the quarantine period.
Hopefully, K is taking this new normal setup well. I think he is slowly adjusting. On our part, hubby and I hope that we can continue to support his education despite the minimal fund coming in. But we are positive that we can all go through with this situation unscathed. We pray the same for everyone out there.
There are different sources of inspiration in this world. You may be inspired because of the other people around you. You may become inspired because of the revolutionary projects that you have in mind. You may become inspired by your dreams but it has always been said that the greatest source of inspiration that you may have is your own home.
It is important to take note that your house is different from your home. A house pertains to a structure. The place where you are currently living in. A house may be beautiful and expensive, filled to the brink with elegant items that you love but as long as the people who are living in the house is not happy, this cannot be called a home.
Christian wall decals
Knowing this now, how can you make your home a source of inspiration? It is not only about using Christian wall decals that you can place to beautify your house. Having a home goes beyond the design and the overall amount of the place. What you need to do is make sure that you will do the following:
- Resolve problems at home immediately
There are several problems that may arise at your own home. It may be between you and your partner or it may be between you and the kids. Sometimes fights will arise between the kids themselves. You need to make sure that you will resolve these problems immediately so that peace will be maintained among family members.
- Have time for your family
Make sure that you will have vacations together. Try to eat meals together no matter how busy you may be with work and with all the other tasks that you have to do. Make sure that each family member understands how important it is to always have time for each other.
Lack of communication is one of the reasons why conflicts may arise within the family. Make sure to always communicate with your family members and you will realize that lesser problems will arise afterwards.
With the simple things that are mentioned above, making the home a source of inspiration will surely be possible.
